How ChargedSMP uses account, Minecraft and store information.

1. Who handles your data
ChargedSMP determines how personal data is used for the website, player accounts and store. For privacy requests, contact ChargedSMP staff through the official Discord linked on this website.
2. Data we process
Depending on the features you use, we may process your Discord user ID, username and avatar; Minecraft UUID and username; server profile/statistics; account-linking records; order numbers, purchased products, coupons, totals and delivery status; PayPal order/capture references and payment status; session/security logs; and the minimum technical data needed to keep the service secure.
3. What we do not store
PayPal handles the payment interface. ChargedSMP does not need to store your PayPal password or full payment-card number in the website database.
4. Why we use the data
We use account and purchase data to authenticate you, link Discord to Minecraft, provide purchases and daily rewards, show receipts, prevent fraud/duplicate claims, secure staff tools, operate the Minecraft integration and meet legitimate legal/accounting obligations.
5. Cookies and local storage
We use essential session cookies for signed-in account/staff sessions and OAuth security. The store checkout list is saved in your browser's local storage so it can remain while you continue shopping. These are functional features rather than advertising tracking.
6. Service providers
Data may be processed through services needed to operate ChargedSMP, including Discord for authentication, PayPal for payments, Vercel for website hosting and Neon/PostgreSQL for website data storage. Each provider processes data under its own terms and privacy practices.
7. Retention
We keep account, security and purchase records for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, handle disputes, prevent abuse and satisfy legal or accounting requirements. Temporary linking codes expire and are not intended to function as permanent credentials.
8. Your rights
Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection or portability of personal data. Some records may need to be retained where there is a legal obligation or an unresolved payment/security issue.
9. Security
We use server-side authentication, restricted staff permissions and secure session handling. No online system can be guaranteed risk-free, so report suspected account or security issues to ChargedSMP staff promptly.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated as the website, store or integrations change. The current version and update date will be published here.
